How is your Posture?

A posture-aligned body is — balanced, relaxed, and supported.

When standing, the spine is elongated with a natural curve in the lower back (lumbar curve), mid-back (thoracic curve), and slight curve in the neck (cervical curve). When viewed from the side, the ear, shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle should ideally form a straight line.

The shoulders are level and relaxed, not hunched forward or rounded excessively.

The neck is in a neutral position, not jutting forward or excessively flexed. The head is balanced on top of the spine rather than protruding forward.

The pelvis is in a neutral position, not rotated, neither tilted excessively forward (anterior pelvic tilt) nor backward (posterior pelvic tilt).

When standing or sitting, weight is evenly distributed between both feet or buttocks, respectively, without favoring one side. Muscles are relaxed and tension-free, without unnecessary strain or tightness.
